I often say that leadership found me long before I knew what to call it. As a little girl, I can still hear my mother's voice reminding me, "Be a leader and not a follower." At the time, it sounded like simple advice. Looking back now, I believe it was one of the first seeds God planted in my life.

As I grew, leadership continued to find me. I was elected president of school clubs, served as an officer in youth organizations, and was selected for leadership programs and internships year after year. I accepted the opportunities, but I didn't yet understand what they were preparing me for. Early in my career, I was entrusted with positions of increasing responsibility. Like many leaders, I learned that having a title and becoming a leader are not the same thing. Titles may open doors, but character, mindset, and servant leadership are what sustain influence. That realization changed everything.

As I continued to grow professionally, I also began growing spiritually. I intentionally explored my spiritual gifts and discovered something that forever shaped the way I lead: my gifts were never meant for me; they were given so I could serve others. In that moment, leadership became more than a profession. It became a calling. From that point forward, I stopped asking, "How can I be successful?" and started asking, "How can I help someone else become successful?" That shift transformed the way I lead teams, coach individuals, develop organizations, and serve my community. It taught me that lasting influence is built through clarity, humility, intentional growth, and a genuine desire to help others discover who they were created to be. CAJJ Unlimited was born from that conviction.

 

For years, I was building leaders while quietly carrying a vision God had placed in my heart. Eventually, I realized that vision wasn't something to admire... it was something to obey. That step of faith became CAJJ Unlimited.  It exists because I believe every person has potential, every leader has room to grow, and every organization is strengthened when people lead with purpose. Whether I'm partnering with an individual navigating a new season, developing emerging leaders, advising executives, or speaking to organizations, my mission remains the same: To help people move from potential to purpose through clarity, strategy, faith, and transformational leadership. Because I no longer see leadership as simply what I do. I believe it's who God has called me to be.
